Membership -- Membership in the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War is open to males 14 years of age or older descended, either directly or collaterally, from a Union soldier who served honorably during the Civil War. Associate memberships, having most of the same privileges, are available to those who have an interest, but do not have a soldier ancestor.
